Midland University is a liberal arts and sciences college. We are affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Midland is committed to providing a quality education that will enable today's young adults to become successful, productive leaders of tomorrow.

Midland University was founded in 1893 with a mission to instill faith, education, respect and stewardship in its students. Students are able to choose from nearly 50 different majors and pre-professional programs. Majors such as youth and family ministry or nursing prepare students for specific careers. Majors such as biology or business administration prepare students for a broad spectrum of job opportunities. There are also a wide variety of extracurricular activities available. We want our students to have a well-rounded college experience.
